About the Pastorate
St. Thomas Church at Palayamchettikulam, was dedicated on 4th April 1913. It was originally a C.M.S. Church. The congregation has nearly 150 families and all of them are interrelated. Most of them are residing outside the village due to their occupation. Others have paddy fields and lands. The people are very tough in nature and very traditional.
Church Dedication Day of Palayamchettikulam Sabai is celebrated on 4th April, while Asanam is celebrated on the Saturday in the Holy Week and Harvest Festival is held for 3 days (Friday-Sunday) in the third week of August.
