On 17.01.1993, it was separated from Mukudal Divine Grace Church and the Branch Church inaugurated with the Holy Eucharist service celebrated by Rev. Paul Ratnasamy. The Church Service was held at Mr. W. Ebenezer’s house, Mr. Subburaj was the first Catechist. Then Mr. T. Sounderraj MA BEd served as Catechist the Church construction work began.
Mr. Y. Rabel donated 5 cents of land to construct the Church building, and nearby adjutant land of another 5 cents purchased from Mr. Simeon for Rs. 20,000-. On 1996 the foundation stone was laid and the construction started in 1997. The size of the church was 45 x 25 sq feet. Portico 10 x 25 built with Rs. 4,00,000/- On 26.10.2000, the Church was dedicated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Jeyapaul David. The Rev. Chellappa MA BD & Mr. T. Sounderraj MA BD was serving as Pastorate Chairman & Catechist. When Rev. Dr. W. Sarkunam was Pastorate Chairman & Mr. W. Jawahar Walter Appadurai Catechist, 7 cents of land just behind the Alter was bought for Church. In January, 2009 the foundation stone was laid by Rev. Dr. W. Sarkunam for extending the church behind Alter. Size of the Alter, 12 x 25 sq feet constructed with the cost of Rs. 2,00,000/-. The Church was rededicated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Jeyapaul David on 21.05.2010. At present Mr. W. Ebenezer Paul Thangadurai is serving as Catechist.
